Sarah Shin is expanding the possibilities of classical music with a voice distinctlyher own. Described as “sparkling” and with “technique at breakneck speed” by TheLudwigsburg Kreiszeitung, the Korean-American flutist imbues her work withrefined musicianship, playful sophistication, and interpretive depth, deliveringperformances that are joyfully resonant, authentic, and alive.
She has performed in leading concert halls across the United States, Europe, and Asia, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Symphony Hall, the John F. Kennedy Center, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Stiftung Mozarteum’s Großer Saal, Musikverein Wien, Schönbrunn Palace, Tonhalle Zürich, and Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul. Her 2023 debut solo album for Sony Classical, Mozart Concertos for Flute and Orchestra Nos. 1 & 2, features conductor Christian Schulz and members of the Savaria Symphony Orchestra
